Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing former Chelsea youth star Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich.
The 20-year-old signed for the Bundesliga champions in 2019 after spending around eight years at the Blues' academy.
Musiala has since scored 32 goals and provided a further 25 assists in 133 appearances for Bayern and is one of Europe's top prospects.
Despite such success in Germany he could be in line for a return to English football, but not back at Chelsea.
BILD reporter Christian Falk says Liverpool are interested in a move for Musiala.
The attacking midfielder's agents have not been speaking to Bayern about extending his contract, which currently runs until 2026.

It could therefore pave the way for Liverpool to consider a move next summer when he has just two years remaining on his deal.
Musiala did not make any senior appearances for Chelsea but did feature for their academy side and has represented England at youth level too.
Signing for Bayern has proven hugely beneficial for him as he's won ten major honours that include four Bundesliga and the Champions League.
A move to Liverpool would add to their influx of midfielders, the Reds signed four in the summer as part of an overhaul with Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo all put pen to paper on deals at Anfield.

Outgoings included Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and James Milner, all of whom were crucial factors to Liverpool's recent success.
Jurgen Klopp may wish to bring fellow German Musiala to the club as he offers versatility in the midfield and attack.
