Harry Kane can’t stop scoring and has previously credited Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for inspiration

Harry Kane is taking a leaf out of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's book as his blistering goalscoring form continues.

The 30-year-old has already netted 17 times in 11 Bundesliga matches so far this season since his summer move from Tottenham.

Kane scored twice as Bayern managed a 4-2 victory over Heidenheim over the weekend at the Allianz Arena.

The England skipper, who is the Premier League's second-all-time top scorer with 213 goals, also has four in this season's Champions League.

He continues to reap the rewards in Bavaria and has previously credited both Ronaldo and Messi as inspiration.

"I think of what they've done, they are as good in their 30s as they were in their 20s," Kane told ESPN.

"Me just turning 30 now, it obviously gives me excitement to know if I keep my body in good shape and keep my mentality right, I could be playing at the highest level for as long as I want to do it.

"Those players [Ronaldo and Messi] have set the bar, those and a few others as well, and it just motivates me and tells me that it's possible.

"It is great watching those players still performing, two of the greatest players ever to play our game.

"For me now, it is almost the second half of my career. I've had a good first half; now, can the second half be even better?"

Simon Jordan believes Harry Kane is doing precisely what he 'expects' him to be doing in the German Bundesliga at Bayern Munich

Kane is yet to win a major honour for club or country, but that could change come the end of the campaign, with Bayern going in search of a 12th successive league title.

“Of course, the team deserves all the gratitude,” Kane recently told fcbayern.com.

“They provide me with the opportunities. I enjoy playing in this team.”
